Heat pump not working, thermostat not communicating with it, this happened during a power outage yesterday, happened a week ago and the technician came out and reset it. Can we reset it ourselves?

To reset the Honeywell TH8321WF1001 thermostat and restore communication with the heat pump, remove the thermostat from the wall plate for 10 seconds and then reattach it. This can help re-establish the connection. If the problem persists, check the circuit breaker, ensure the power switch at the heating system is on, and verify wiring connections.

I’m not able to adjust time. I’ve chosen daylight savings and it’s still off by 1 hour. I’ve tried to tap the date/time to access that menu and it does not do anything, no adjustment is presented

To adjust the time on your Honeywell TH8321WF1001 thermostat:

1. Touch the current time on the screen to display the "Select Option" menu.
2. Touch "Time" and then "Select."
3. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to adjust the time by 1 hour.
4. Touch "Done" to save the changes.

If the thermostat is registered to Total Connect Comfort, it should automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time. If the time is still incorrect, verify the registration or manually adjust it as described.

@Mr. Anderson touching time does not bring up any menu. It is connected to the WiFi and displays outside temp etc, but is not setting for daylight. The zip code is correct.
