The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that
children ride in a rear facing Child Restraint until they are at
least 2 years old. An infant's head, neck and spine are not
supported as well in a forward facing position.

Rear Facing Setup

1 Move Calf Support to desired
installation position (p12).
2 Place Child Restraint rear facing in a
compatible vehicle seat (p4).
3 Select desired rear facing recline
position 1–5
If infant's head falls forward, Child
Restraint must be reclined more.
Use Infant Insert with infants 5–11 lbs
(2.3–5 kg) for best fit and positioning.
4 Loosen and unbuckle Harness and
retain with Buckle Holders (p8).
5 Pivot Cup Holders to use position to
access Rear Facing Belt Path (p12).
