    Battery Charge Place the handset on the base unit and charge for about 8 hours before initial use. •The ringer/charge indicator lights. •If the battery has been fully charged, the ringer/charge indicator light will turn from red to green. Battery strength You can check the battery strength on the handset display while the handset is on the base unit, while it is in use (making/answering a call etc.), or after viewing the Caller List or directory items, programming etc.
