ISO value

This determines the light sensitivity of photos. By
increasing the light sensitivity (and increasing the
ISO value), photos can even be taken in dark
locations, although the photo appears to be
grainier (noisy).
Apart from the camera's automatic ISO setting, the
following ISO values are available:
100 / 200 / 400 / 800 / 1600 / 3200 / 6400

Exposure measurement

You can determine the method used by the camera to measure the exposure. The following
options are available:
[
] Multi: Exposure is measured across the entire image area.
[
] Center: Takes the average of the light measures within the entire frame
but places more emphasis on objects at the centre.
[
] Spot: A very small area at the centre of the image is measured to calculate the
correct exposure value.

Locking settings

This option allows you to determine whether Exposure and/or Focussing can be locked at
the push of a button. See also section "Lock Exposure and Auto focus" on page 29 of this
Instruction manual.
The following settings are available:
AE-L: To lock/unlock Exposure.
AF-L: To lock/unlock Focus.
