When using an ActivBoard, you may need to re-calibrate if the whiteboard or projector have been moved for
any reason. Calibration aligns the tip of the ActivPen on the screen.

Start with both the ActivBoard and the computer switched on, hold the ActivPen lightly on the ActivBoard,
without pushing in the nib of the ActivPen. The cursor on the ActivBoard should line up with the tip of the
ActivPen. If it does not, you need to calibrate the ActivBoard.
On your computer screen:
1. Click on the ActivManager icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and select Calibrate
(Figure 1)
2. When the calibration program starts, move to the board and follow the instructions on the screen.

After calibrating, check that the tip of your ActivPen lines up with the cursor on the ActivBoard. If it does
not, reset the board by switching it off for thirty seconds
Switch on again and try to calibrate the board again. If the board will not calibrate contact Promethean
Technical Support.

If you have a DVD with your ActivBoard 078, insert this into your computer and follow the on-screen
instructions to install your ActivInspire software.
If the DVD does not Auto-run then locate the DVD files using Windows Explorer (Windows) or Finder
(MAC). The DVD drive is usually the "(D:)" drive.
Find the file "setup.exe" and double click it to launch the install process.
