Remove the battery cover, then connect the battery cable to the battery
connector, ensure that the battery terminals are not reversed, and place the
battery in the battery compartment.

Installing the Antenna

1. Power the device off.
2. Connect the indoor antenna to the antenna port as shown in the following
figure, and screw on the antenna until it is securely connected.

Installing the Power Adapter

Under normal operation, the H258C is powered from an A.C. power outlet using
the power adapter that is included with the device.
Power the device off, connect one end of the power adapter to the DC input port
and the other to an A.C. power outlet.
