5 Initial setup
When you first use your MediaQ, follow the setup instructions
on your TV.
In the following example, a wireless network is set up and you
are using your phone as the remote control.
1. Connect your phone to the MediaQ.
2. Download and install the partner app on your phone.
3. Connect the MediaQ to a wireless router.
4. Connect your phone to the wireless router.
5. Using your MediaQ, register and log in to your Huawei ID.
(Optional)
Your Huawei ID lets you access a variety of cloud
services, such as cloud storage.
The MediaQ's main interface is then displayed.
Open the partner app on your phone, go to Remote control,
and double-tap home to switch to the media integration screen
for more functions.
The setup instructions only appear when you first use
your MediaQ. If you need to change the settings, go to
the MediaQ's Settings menu.
