However, for your safety and to avoid damage caused by improper installation, this water heater must be installed by a Certified Licensed Professional, and meet all local codes or, in the absence of local codes, the latest edition of CAN/CSA B149.1, Natural Gas and Propane Gas Installation Code, in Canada, and/or the latest edition of the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, in the United States.
