Pairing (Searching from this unit)

Connection
Pairing is required only the first time you connect to
a cell phone.
Check that the cellphone is set to allow for
searching beforehand.
1 Activate the Bluetooth signal.

Touch MENU.

Touch "Phone."
The phone setting menu appears.

Touch "Bluetooth Signal;'then "OW
The signal is activated, and the Bluetooth
indicator in the bottom right of the unit
lights up in blue.

In the phone setting menu, touch "Add
Devices:'
A message asking you to set the cell phone to
detectable appears.

Touch "Search for Phone:'
After cell phone search is complete, the list of
connectable cell phones appears.
4 In the list, touch the
cell phone
to register.
Pairing starts.
5 Touch the number keys to enter the
passkey*.
Enter the same passkey on this unit and on the
cell phone. The passkey can be either your own
selected number or the number determined by
the cell phone.
For details, see the manual of the cell phone.

Perform the required operation also on the
cell phone.
A message appears stating that the pairing is
complete.

Passkey may be cal/ed 'passcode: 'PIN code,' "PIN
number: "password: etc., depending on the cel/phone.
To connect to the cellphone
Touch "Connect" after step 6 above

Once the Bluetooth signal is activated, the unit
searches for the last connected cellphone, and
connection is made automatically if possible.
In this chapter, instructions on how to connect
manually to paired cellphones are introduced.
Before starting, be sure to activate the Bluetooth
signal both on this unit and the cell phone.

cell phone
to connect.
The confirmation display appears.

The unit is connected to the selected cell phone.
The currently connected cell phone is indicated

in the paired cell phone list.
To disconnect
In step 5 above, touch the cell phone to disconnect
(one that is currently connected)
