Synchronize an Email Account
Whatever your automatic synchronization settings are, you can also synchronize your sent and received
email messages manually at any time.
1. From home, tap
If you want to switch to a different email account, tap the account name at the top of the
screen and select another account.
2. Tap
Refresh.
Filter Email Messages
1. From home, tap
2. From the Inbox, tap
3. Select an option to filter email messages.
Delete Email Messages
1. From home, tap
2. From the Inbox, touch and hold the message you want to delete.
– or –
Touch and hold on a message you want to delete, and then tap checkboxes for additional
messages to delete.
3. Tap
Delete.

Edit Email Settings

You can edit general preferences, which apply to all email accounts, or configure settings for specific
email accounts, such as email address and password, name display and signature, frequency of retrieval,
and more.

General email settings affect all email accounts.
1. From home, tap
2. Tap
Menu > Settings to configure general email settings:
Display: Choose how emails are shown in the email list, and when you open them.
Default display: Select what is shown after you have moved or deleted emails.
