Check Point
1. Execute Key/Sensor in Sec. 9.3.6 to check
the door switch (Door Sensor) ON/OFF
condition.
2. Check the condition between the Door
Switch and CN4006 on DRIVE Board.
3. Check the Door Switch mechanical
condition.
4. Replace a faulty cable.
5. Replace the Door Switch.
1. Execute Key/Sensor in Sec. 9.3.6 to check
the door switch ON/OFF condition.
2. Check 24VIL signal line (CN4006-2nd pin)
3. Check DOOR signal (CN4002-34th)
→ +5 V (when the door is open)
0 V (when the door is closed)
4. Replace a faulty cable.
5. Replace the DRIVE Board.
6. Replace the CONTROL Board.
1. Check the soldering condition of the parts
surrounding the ASIC (IC0035 and IC0038)
2. Check the soldering condition of the SDRAM
(IC0040 to IC0043).
3. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
1. Check whether the additional SDRAM is
attached to CN0017 and CN0018, properly.
Or reattached it.
2. Make sure that the optional SDRAM meets
our recommended specifications.
(See 4.5 for details.)
3. Check the soldering condition of the parts
surrounding the ASIC (IC0035 and IC0038)
on the CONTROL Board to repair it.
4. Check the soldering condition of the CN0017
and CN0018 (for the SDRAM) and its
surrounding circuit on the CONTROL
Board to repair it.
5. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
1. Check the following connection and
soldering condition to repair it.
a. CN5002 (CCD (F) Board) to CN1003
(CONTROL Board)
b. CN5002 (CCD (B) Board to CN1005
(CONTROL Board)
c. CN5003 (CCD (F) Board) to CN1004
(CONTROL Board)
d. CN5003 (CCD (B) Board) to CN1006
(CONTROL Board)
e. IC7 and IC8 (CCD (F) Board and
CCD (B) Board) and their surround circuit.
f. IC0006 (CONTROL Board) and its
surround circuit.
2. Check the following signals during power-on.
a. AFE_SDF (CN1004-12th pin): See Fig. 10.
b. AFE_SDB (CN1006-12th pin): See Fig.10.
c. 3.3 V (CN5003-9th pin on the CCD (F)
Board and the CCD (B) Board)
3. Replace faulty parts or boards.
1. Check the soldering condition of the USB
Controller (IC0010) and its surrounding
circuit on the CONTROL Board to repair it.
2. Check the soldering condition of CPU
(IC0006) on the CONTROL Board.
3. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
1. Check the soldering condition of the
EEPROM (IC0004) and its surrounding
circuit on the CONTROL Board.
2. Check the soldering condition of the CPU
(IC0006-89,90, and 100th pins) and their
surrounding circuit on the CONTROL Board.
3. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
