Only loosen the shoulder screw.
Do
not remove it.
(If the screw is removed the bottom half of the
Connector (CAl-l037) will be loose under the
circuit board.)

.: 1. The front panel unit can be removed with the
pentaprism and

flexible circuit board

2. When removing the front panel unit, the SAVE
flex i s pulled out from under the main flex.
3. When the front panel unit is reinstalled, the
DI D
flex connector may hit a capacitor on the
bottom of the
D I A
board. Insure that the
DID
fl e x connector passes under the capacitor.
4. When installing the front panel unit, make
sure that the X sync (red) lead passes over
the top of the pentaprism.

Reassembly is normal ly the reverse of disassembly . This
guide contains reassembly details which may not be obvious
