To check availability and to subscribe to the multimedia messaging service, contact your network operator or service
provider. You can set the settings for multimedia messaging.
Copyright protections may prevent you from copying, modifying, transferring, or forwarding some images, ringing tones,
and other content.
To create and send a multimedia message:
1. Press Menu, and select

3. To insert an attachment in the message, press Options.
• To insert a file in the message, press Options, select Insert, and select the desired option. You can only select the
option if it is highlighted. The list of available folders in the
desired file, press Options, and select Insert. The file is attached when the file name appears in the message.
• The phone supports multimedia messages that contain several slides. Each slide can contain text, one image, a
calendar note, a business card, and one sound clip. To insert a slide in the message, press Options, and select
→ Slide. If the message contains several slides, you can open the desired one by pressing Options, and selecting
Previous

• To insert a name from Contacts, press Options, and select

4. To view the message before sending it, press Options, and select Preview.

Note that sending a multimedia message takes more time than sending a text message.
While the multimedia message is being sent, the animated indicator

Note that when the message is sent, it is not an indication that the message has been received at the

Reading and replying to a multimedia message

Important: Multimedia message objects may contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your device or
PC. Do not open any attachment if you are not sure of the trustworthiness of the sender.
When the phone receives a multimedia message, the animated indicator

3. Press Options, and some of the following options may be available:

presentation — to view the presentation attached in the message.
