NAMES OF PARTS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

Rear panel

1 FM antenna terminal
Connect the supplied FM antenna.
2 AM antenna terminal
(U.S.A. and Canada models)
Connect the supplied AM antenna.
3 GND
Connect the cable core of the FM antenna (see
below).
4 AUX
Connect an external device (☞ P. 15).

Connecting the FM antenna

It is recommended to connect the FM antenna to the GND terminal before connecting to the FM antenna
terminal.

Remove insulation and twist
the edge of the cord.

Fully unscrew the GND terminal, then wind the
cord inside the ring part of the GND terminal.

Connect the supplied AC adaptor and power
cable.
6 ALARM TYPE
Sets the alarm type of the IntelliAlarm function
(☞ P. 17).
7 CLOCK
Adjusts the clock (☞ P. 7).

Tighten the GND terminal taking care
not to slip the cord off from the
terminal.

Connect the supplied FM antenna to the unit.
