ZONE RESPONSE TYPE DEFINITIONS Type 00 Program a zone with this zone type if the zone is not used. Zone Not Used Type 01 This zone type provides entry delay whenever the zone is faulted if the control Entry/Exit Burglary is armed in the AWAY or STAY modes. - Page 12 Type 20 This is a special-purpose zone type used with 5800 series wireless pushbutton Arm–Stay units which will result in arming the system in the STAY mode when the zone is activated. DATA FIELD DESCRIPTIONS The blank programming form in this manual should be used to record the data for this installation. The following is a list of all data fields in this control (presented in numerical order). This list provides an explanation of each data field, and will serve as a reference for all fields in the system. - Page 14 ZONE SOUNDS AND SINGLE ALARM SOUNDING PER ZONE Default is 0. I want to bypass a protection zone. I **** entering my security code and pressing the Bypass key (6) on keyboard. I then enter the zone number (exp 13), but the zone number does not appear on the screen indicating it has been bypassed.
On the ADEMCO VISTA-10SE, certain zone types can be bypassed automatically when the system is armed in Stay or Instant mode. However, some zone types, such as always-active zones, cannot be bypassed. To manually bypass a protection zone, follow these steps:
1. Enter your security code on the keypad.
2. Press the Bypass key (often labeled as 6).
3. Enter the two-digit zone number you want to bypass.
4. Repeat for additional zones if needed.
5. Arm the system as usual.
Bypassed zones remain inactive until the system is disarmed.
