To fix the flashing yellow light and the error message for ink not installed correctly on a Canon MG2500 Series printer, follow these steps:
1. Open the ink cartridge chamber door. 2. Check if the ink cartridges are properly installed. 3. If not, press down and remove the cartridges. 4. Reinsert them by sliding them in and pushing them firmly until they are parallel to the ground. 5. Close the ink cartridge chamber door. 6. Wait for the printer to recognize the cartridges. 7. If the lights stop flashing and the green light becomes stable, the issue is resolved.
If the error persists, check for any additional error codes related to ink recognition and follow the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

I'm getting an error message that the waste ink waste absorber pad is full and it won't print. Can this be replaced on a MG2522 printer and if so, how? I'm not finding anything that looks like a pad nor how it would be accessed. Thanks.

When the green power button and yellow triangle button are flashing on a Canon MG2500 Series printer, it indicates an error. One common issue is with the ink cartridges not being installed properly.
To resolve the issue: 1. Open the ink cartridge chamber door. 2. Check if the ink cartridges are properly seated. 3. If not, press them down, remove them, and reinstall them. 4. Ensure the cartridges are securely in place by sliding them in and pushing them until they click. 5. Close the chamber door and check if the flashing lights stop.
If the ink cartridge containers are not moving: - Ensure there is no protective material or tape blocking the cartridge holder. - Check for any paper jams or obstructions. - Restart the printer and try again.
If the issue persists, additional troubleshooting or contacting Canon support may be necessary.
