 7 Troubleshooting
The OneTouch® Verio® Meter displays messages when
there are problems with the test strip, with the meter
or when your glucose levels are above 33.3 mmol/L or
below 1.1 mmol/L. Improper use may cause an inaccurate
result without producing an error message.
NOTE: If the meter is on but does not operate (locks-up),
contact Customer Service. Contact the OneTouch®
Customer Care Line at 1 800 663-5521.
What it means
You may have a very low
blood glucose level (severe
hypoglycemia), below
1.1 mmol/L.
What to do
This may require immediate
treatment. Although this
message could be due to a
test error, it is safer to treat
first and then do another test.
Always treat according to
your healthcare professional's
recommendations.

The OneTouch Verio Meter does not have an option to manually clear memory. However, all stored data will be erased if you download all data to a computer. If no result is found in memory after this, it is normal. If this happens unexpectedly, contact OneTouch Customer Care.
