Selector Drum; Tamburo Comando Forcelle - Husqvarna 250 Workshop Manual

Determinare il gioco esistente tra perno di azionamento della
forcella e scanalatura sul tamburo comando forcelle rilevando le
due quote con un calibro. Se il limite di servizio viene superato,
stabilire, confrontandoli con i valori dei componenti nuovi, quale
particolare deve essere sostituito.
Gioco tra perno forcella e scanalatura sul tamburo con componenti
nuovi:
0,020÷0,135 mm. Limite di servizio: 0,25 mm.
Diametro perno forcella nuovo: 8,015÷8,030 mm.
Larghezza scanalatura "A" del tamburo: 8,050÷8,150 mm.
Check the clearance between the selector pin and the selector
drum groove by measuring the two clearances with a gauge. If the
wear limit is exceeded then establish which part is to be replaced by
comparing values with new parts.
Clearance between selector pin and drum grooving, with new
components:
0.00079÷0.00531 in. Wear limit: 0.0098 in.
Selector fork pin (new): 0.315÷0.316 in.
Width "A" of drum groove: 0.317÷0.320 in.

Tamburo comando forcelle

Verificare lo stato di usura dei perni di supporto del tamburo; non
devono presentare solchi, bave o deformazioni.
Verificare il gioco esistente tra perni e alloggiamento sul carter, se
dovesse risultare superiore a 0,10 mm (limite di servizio) sostituire
il componente più usurato.

Selector drum

Check the wear of the pins supporting the drum, these should not
be scored, pitted or distorted.
Check the play between the pins and their locations in the casing; if
the wear limit is greater than 0.0039 in. then replace the most worn
components.
