When I pair the transmitter to the receiver the collar only flashes red and not green and therefore doesn’t turn on. Would this be a dead or low battery in the collar?

If the E-Collar 300 collar only flashes red when pairing, it may indicate a low or dead battery. According to the manual, the collar blinks red when recharging is required. It is recommended to recharge the battery immediately to avoid irreversible damage.

Yes, the E-Collar 300 has a battery. If it won't light up, possible reasons include a dirty or worn charging port, or the battery may be near the end of its lifespan, especially if the collar has been used for several years. Pushing the charger in or moving it to get a light suggests a poor connection, possibly due to wear.
