Screen Mirroring Settings

With Screen mirroring, you can share your device's screen with another device, using an optional
AllShare Cast accessory (not included).
Turn Screen Mirroring On or Off
1. Press
and then tap
2. Tap Screen mirroring, and then tap the ON/OFF switch beside Screen Mirroring to turn
Screen mirroring On or Off.
Note: Tap > H elp to find instructions for using Screen mirroring to connect to a device.

Lock Screen

Configure settings for locking the screen, to improve security.

Screen Lock

Choose a screen lock, to dim and lock the screen.
1. Press
and then tap
2. Tap Lock screen > S creen lock.
3. Choose settings:
Swipe: W hen enabled, you unlock the device by swiping your finger across the screen. This
l
is the default screen lock, and offers no security.
Face unlock: W hen enabled, you unlock the device by looking at the screen. This option
l
offers low security, because someone who looks similar to you could unlock your device. Tap
the option for more information, and to set up Face unlock.
Face and voice: W hen enabled, you unlock the device by looking at the screen and
l
speaking. This option offers low security, because someone who looks and/or sounds similar
to you could unlock your device. Touch the option for more information, and to set up Face
and voice unlock.
Pattern: W hen enabled, you draw a pattern, which you create, on the screen to unlock the
l
device. Touch the option, then follow the prompts to create or change your screen unlock
pattern.
PIN: W hen enabled, you enter a numeric PIN (Personal Identification Number), which you
l
create, to unlock the device.
Password: W hen enabled, you enter an alphanumeric password, which you create, to
l
unlock the device.
None: D isable all custom screen lock settings, to use the default swipe unlock screen.
