Cleaning the washable pre-filter

It is recommended that the pre-filter is cleaned every 8 weeks.
To clean the pre-filter, follow these steps:
1. Face the air intake grill.
2. Press on the centre and release the filter cover (fig. 4).
3. Detach pre-filter sheet from the retaining strips on all corners (fig. 5).
4. Shake dust out of pre-filter sheet.
You can wash the pre-filter sheet in mild detergent, rinse, and air-dry thoroughly. (Do
not place in automatic dryer).
5. Re-attach the pre-filter sheet to retaining corner (fig. 5).
6. Replace filter cove^ bottom edge first, and snap in place (fig. 6).
7. The pre-filter sheet must be replaced when damaged.

REPLACING THE HEPA FILTER UNIT

It is recommended to replace the HERA filter unit once a year or earlier depending on the
accumulated dirt, see "Filter condition indicator" (fig. 8).
When it is time to change the filter, follow the steps below:
1. Purchase a new HERA filter unit from your retailer.
(The replacement filter assembly contains both a new washable pre-filter and HEPA
filter).
2. Face the air intake grill.
3. Press on the centre and release the filter cover (fig. 4).
4. Lift filter cover off and set aside.
5. Remove the entire HERA filter unit (fig. 7). Dispose of entire old HERA filter unit
including pre-filter.
6. Install new HERA filter unit by inserting bottom edge first and align in place.
7. Replace filter cover; bottom edge first, and snap into place (fig. 6).
