Freezing
The temperature alarm is located
on the front of the freezer.The
alarm wiii sound if the freezer
temperature rises above 20° F.
The aiarm operates on househoid
electricity. if the power faiis, the
aiarm wiii not perform.
An ON/OFF switch aiiows the
temperatureaiarm to be deactivated
when not wanted. The freezer is
shipped with the temperatureaiarm
in the OFF position. After the
freezer has run iong enough to
iower the temperature, you may
activate the aiarm.
Caution: Adding more than 3
pounds of warm food per cubic foot
of freezer capacity can trigger the
aiarm system.

4. Choose correct packaging

can be used. Make sure they are
especially designed for freezing.

hoie marked ON and move the
rocker switch to the ON position.

There is an established maximum
of food your freezer is designed to
freeze atone time—approximateiy
3 pounds per cubic foot of freezer
capacity. In normal position, your
freezer's controi diai wiii maintain
sufficiently iow temperatures in the
freezer to freeze recommended
quantities of food.

food, piace it in direct contact with

refrigerated sheif.
