Enter the link name, hostname, and shared folder name, then click [OK].

- SMB-compatible Windows computers (Mac OS and Linux are not supported.)
• If [DFS link to DFS root] is disabled, then you may set up to 8 hostnames and DFS links.

Accessing from a NFS (Network File System) Client

Follow the procedure below to confi gure the TeraStation for access from UNIX with NFS.
Note:
This section is for information only. UNIX and NFS are not supported by Buff alo. If you choose to confi gure your
TeraStation this way, it does not void your warranty, but you are on your own for tech support.
Follow the procedure below to confi gure the TeraStation for access with NFS.
Note:
(US purchasers only) Buff alo's customer support will help confi gure the NFS settings on your TeraStation, and
will support VMware and Windows clients but will not provide support for confi guring your Linux or other UNIX
clients. There are many types of UNIX and the procedures for confi guring NFS with them will vary considerably.
For help confi guring your Netware, Linux, or other UNIX clients for NFS support please consult each client's own
documentation and support.
