Freerun Frequency Adjustment
Adjustment Procedure
1. Timing Controller IC101
SYNC IN (pin1) TP154, HSYNC IN (pin2) TP153 and VDB
IN (pin5) TP149 are to be made no input. (Connect to GND.)
2. HSYNC frequency output from HOUT (pin6) TP148 is to be
measured with a frequency counter. At VR101, it is to be
adjusted to 15.734kHz±0.01kHz.

Adjustment Procedure
1. Press Chroma in the Test Mode Menu screen.
2. Luster white 30~50% will be displayed.
3. Place the flicker adjustment jig on the monitor and observe
the waveform with an oscilloscope.
4. Vary COM DC values, using UP/Down key of remote con-
troller.
Adjust so that the waveform oscillation width will be the mini-
mum.
5. After adjustment, press final selection key.
* When the final selection key is pressed, the OSD in upper
left corner will change its color to orange.
6. Then, press End key and when "Write OK" is displayed,
adjustment is complete.
Press End key once more to exit from COM DC adjustment.
