APPENDIX B SETUP PROCEDURE WHEN BUILDING A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT (FOR Windows Server® 2008 R2 ONLY)
(6) Setup of the guest OS
Set up Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 R2, Standard.
Perform the following procedure to start the virtual machine and set up the basic environment.
1. Click Start button. Click Administrative Tools and then Hyper-V Manager.
2. Right-click virtual machine HITACHI_VM_WS08R2 to display a pop-up menu. In the
pop-up menu, click Connect.
3. The Virtual Machine Connection window appears. In the Action menu, click Start.
Setup of Windows Server® 2008 R2, Standard automatically starts.
4. The product key entry window appears. Enter the product key written in your license
certificate and click Next button.
