Preferred settings

The "Preferred Settings" menu can only be called up if
no DVD is inserted in the television set. Then press the
"DVD SETUP" button.

Setting the parental lock
The parental lock can be used to prevent your children from
watching DVD films which are unsuitable for their age.
If you play a DVD which is equipped with such protection, the
parental lock level can be set here.
To do this, you must confirm a change with a separate password.
Level "1 PARENTAL LOCK" is unreservedly suitable for children,
and level "8 ADULTS" is only suitable for adults.
The parental lock is set to "OFF" as default.
Select the "PARENTAL LOCK" setting in the "PREFERRED
SETTINGS" menu.
Select the desired level with the " " or " " cursor buttons.
Then press the "ENTER" button.
You will be requested to enter a password. The password is
comprised of a four-digit code. The code "1369" is set as the
factory default.
Enter the four-digit code using the numerical buttons and then
press the "ENTER" button.
DVD set-up
Explanation
The television standard can
be set here. If you select the
"AUTO" option, the television
standard is set automatically.
