Using The Self-Timer - Canon PowerShot SD880 IS Digital ELPH User Manual

When the person shooting wishes to join in a group photo, the self-timer can
be used to shoot. Approximately 10 seconds after the shutter button is
pressed, the camera will take the photo.

remains lit when the flash will fire),

in Step 2.
