Vertical Height (VERHEIGHT) Adjustment
1. From the GEOMETRY adjustments screen, use the Menu Up/Down keys to highlight VERHEIGHT.
2. Input a crosshatch pattern to the antenna/cable input terminal.
3. Using the Menu Left key, reduce the value so that the picture does not fill the entire screen.
4. Use the Menu Up/Down keys to select VERSHIFT (Vertical Shift) from the Geometry sub-menu and,
using the Menu Left/Right keys, center the picture on the screen, top to bottom.
5. Using the Menu Up/Down keys, select VERHEIGHT from the Geometry sub-menu, and use the
Menu Right key to increase the value of VERHEIGHT to obtain a slight overscan.
6. If other GEOMETRY adjustments are needed, proceed to the necessary adjustment.
7. When finished with adjustments, or if no changes are required, press the Menu button to return to
the ALIGNMENTS sub-menu.
Horizontal Shift (HORSHIFT) Adjustment
Note: This adjustment centers the video on the raster. It does not move the raster.
1. From the GEOMETRY adjustments screen, use the Menu Up/Down keys to highlight HORSHIFT.
2. Input a center cross pattern to the antenna/cable input terminal.
3. Using the Menu Left/Right keys, adjust HORSHIFT so that the vertical bar is properly centered, left
to right.
4. If other GEOMETRY adjustments are needed, proceed to the necessary adjustment.
5. When finished with adjustments, or if no changes are required, press the Menu button to return to
the ALIGNMENTS sub-menu.
Vertical Slope (VERSLOPE) Adjustment
1. From the GEOMETRY adjustments screen, use the Menu Up/Down keys to highlight VERSLOPE.
2. Input a crosshatch pattern to the antenna/cable input terminal.
3. Using the Menu Left/Right keys, adjust VERSLOPE so that the squares at the bottom of the screen
are equal in size to the squares at the top of the screen.
4. If other GEOMETRY adjustments are needed, proceed to the necessary adjustment.
5. When finished with adjustments, or if no changes are required, press the Menu button to return to
the ALIGNMENTS sub-menu.
Vertical S- Correction (VER S-COR) Adjustment
1. From the GEOMETRY adjustments screen, use the Menu Up/Down keys to highlight VER S-COR.
2. Input a crosshatch pattern to the antenna/cable input terminal.
3. Using the Menu Left/Right keys, adjust VER S-COR so that the squares at the center of the screen
are equal in size to the squares at the top and bottom of the screen.
4. If other GEOMETRY adjustments are needed, proceed to the necessary adjustment.
5. When finished with adjustments, or if no changes are required, press the Menu button to return to
the ALIGNMENTS sub-menu.
