22. Measure and cut the EPT sealer as shown.

23. Clean the player panel with isopropyl alcohol
where the EPT sealers will attach. Attach the
EPT sealers to the player panel, and cut off the
marked area from the player panel.
24. Cut the two ribs on the rear of the player panel as
shown.

25. Remove the masking tape attached in step 16.
26. Insert the player panel clips into latches, and
attach the player panel to the instrument panel
with the two self-tapping screws removed in
step 5.

27. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly
and all connectors are plugged in.
28. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
29. Enter the customer's radio and navigation unit
anti-theft code, and reset the audio presets.
30. Set the clock.
31. Do the ECU idle learn procedure.
Make sure all electrical items (A/C, audio, rear
window defogger, lights, etc.) are off.
Reset the PCM with the HDS.
Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and wait 2
seconds.
Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at
3,000 rpm without load (in Park or neutral) until
the radiator fan comes on, or until the engine
coolant temperature reaches 194°F (90°C).
Let the engine idle about 5 minutes with the
throttle fully closed.
NOTE: If the radiator fan comes on, do not
include its running time in the 5 minutes.
32. If the IMA battery level gauge (BAT) displays zero
segments, start the engine, and hold it between
3,500 rpm and 4,000 rpm (in Park or Neutral) until
the IMA batter level displays at least three
segments.
