  • Page 4: Inserting/Removing A Sim Card

    Inserting/Removing a SIM Card Before using the HSPA modem, set a SIM card to the SIM card slot. CAUTION Be sure to shut down the computer before inserting or removing the SIM card. Turn off the computer. Open the Battery 1 cover and remove the battery pack.
  • Page 5 Removing a SIM card A Push the card. It will come out of the slot a little bit. B Pull the card all the way out and remove the SIM card. Insert the battery pack and close the Battery 1 cover.

    Connect the CD/DVD drive and an external keyboard to the Cradle. Turn on the computer, and run the Setup Utility by pressing while [Panasonic] boot screen is displayed. If [Enter Password] is displayed, input the Supervisor Password. Select the [Advanced] - [Wireless Confi guration] menu, and set [Wireless WAN] to [Enabled].

    Disabling/Enabling Wireless Communication The Wireless Switch Utility icon appears in the notifi cation area when the computer is turned ON. It shows the status of wireless devices. : Indicates that the wireless devices are enabled. : Indicates that the wireless devices are off. (gray indication): Indicates that the wireless devices have been disabled in the Setup Utility.
