    SV8100 processor to work. Each SV8100 CCPU has a unique Hardware Key that is generated by NEC Infrontia. Software Key Codes can be downloaded from the License Manager Server (LMS) and assigned to a hardware key.

    Issue 1.0 License Manager Server ___________________________________________________________________________________  If a license has not been installed on the SV8100, and the trial license is turned on and then off, the days remaining continues to decrease.  After a license is installed on the SV8100, you should set Program 90-55-01 to 0 to turn off the trial license.

    ___________________________________________________________________________________ Notification When a License is Generated When an order is processed by NEC Infrontia, an email notification is sent out to the Dealer/ Associate Admin or technician. The email will contain the purchase order number that was used to order the licenses. The main body of the email will also show the part numbers, names and quantity of each license that was ordered.

    Issue 1.0 License Manager Server ___________________________________________________________________________________ Adding a Customer and Hardware Key Before a license can be downloaded and installed onto the SV8100, you are required to enter some details of the customer and the hardware key of the CCPU into the LMS. To add a customer, from the homepage, click Customer Administration or, from the Administration menu click Customers.

In this scenario, you would add one customer and add several locations to that customer. Each location can have a hardware key assigned to them.

Enter a Location Name; the name should be a meaningful description of the location where the SV8100 will be installed.

The last five licenses requiring action are displayed. At the bottom of the list, there is an option to show all licenses that are awaiting action. You can click the icon to the right of the part name to download the software key code for that license.

    Issue 1.0 License Manager Server ___________________________________________________________________________________ Attaching Licenses to Customer Locations There are two ways in which license files can be generated. The first method is to directly assign the licenses from the license administration page to the customer location. You can click and assign as many licenses that the customer as requires and then download the license file.

If the license is for multiple items, you can select the quantity of items that you want to assign to that customer. If there was a quantity of 10 licenses available on the LMS and five of those were assigned to a customer, then the remaining five licenses are still available on the LMS to be assigned to another customer.

Licenses attached to the customer are displayed below. If you need to detach any licenses from the customer, select the licenses on the left hand side of the part number and click Detach.

A summary of the Hardware Key Code and any related Software Key Codes is displayed. Activation codes are also listed. Activation codes are checksums that are part of the licenses. In the Save in: panel use the dropdown menu to select a location. In the File name: panel the first six characters should be the same as the last six digits of the hardware key. If the first six characters of the filename are different from the last six digits the license will fail to install.

Now enter the Software key code that is associated with the hardware key and click Add.

Click the Download icon underneath the Download heading to download the license file.

The Expires column will show Unlimited. This does not mean that the license will not expire, the expiry date should be checked in Program 10-52-01 in TelePro / WebPro.

Click OK. If the free license is running, then disconnect from PCPro and then go into TelePro. Change Program 90-55-01 from 1 to 0 and exit from programming. If the free license was not running and then a license is installed, you should set Program 90-55-01 to 1 and then change it to back to 0.
