15 Store the microphone carefully in the
glove compartment or another safe place.
If the microphone is subjected to direct sun-
light for an extended period, high tempera-
tures may cause distortion, colour change or
malfunction.
Displaying the screen for
app settings

Press the HOME button to display the
"Top Menu" screen.

The "Edit/Settings" screen appears.

Touch [App settings].
The "App settings" menu appears.

Touch the item you want to configure.
Selecting the device connection
method
If you want to use the application for iPhone
or smartphone on this navigation system, you
must select the method for connecting your
device.
Settings are required according to the con-
nected device.
"App connection settings" can be set when
all of the following conditions are met.
! The AV source is turned off.
! All iPod, smartphone and external storage
devices are not connected to this naviga-
tion system.
For iPhone with 30-pin connector users
Display the "App settings" screen.

Touch [App connection settings].
The "App connection settings" screen ap-
pears.

Touch [iPhone].
The connection setting of iPhone is enabled.
The "iPod Connection Settings" screen ap-
pears.

For iPhone with Lightning connector
users
Display the "App settings" screen.
