Place an MP3 CD in the CD compartment or insert a USB storage medium
or memory card into the corresponding connection of the device.
1. Press the DVD/USB/CARD button (Fig. 3/25) on the remote control in
order to switch the DVD player to the fi le mode.
2. Use the PROG (Fig. 3/39) button to move to the fi le list.
3. Then use the den Cursor buttons (Fig. 3/25) to select the desired fi le
in the list.
4. Press the „ " Cursor button. The fi le is then included in the playlist.
5. After you have selected all of the fi les, press the PROG button in order
to change to the playlist.
6. Start playback by pressing the ENTER button (Fig. 3/13).
1. Use the PROG button (Fig. 3/39) to switch to the fi le list.
2. Select the desired fi le from the list with the Cursor buttons (Fig. 3/25).
3. Then press the „ " Cursor button. The fi le is deleted from the playlist.
NOTE: The playlist can only be deleted in stop mode.
Press the " "-button (Fig. 3/33) on the remote control to stop the replay.
If an audio CD is inserted you can activate the ripping function. This
function allows you to convert the data on the audio CD into MP3 format
and store it on your connected MP3 player.
NOTE:
You can move through the ripping menu with the Cursor buttons (Fig.
3/28) and change the settings with the ENTER button (Fig. 3/13).
1. Press the SUBTITLE/REC button (Fig. 3/6) to call up the ripping menu.
2. Perform the required adjustments under "Options". The settings are
changed with the ENTER button.
Speed: Here you can select the speed with which the tracks are to be
converted. The options available are Normal = real time and Fast.
Bitrate: Here you can select the desired bit rate.
Create ID3: Select whether ID3 information should be created.
NOTE:
This is only possible in the case of CDs which contain fi le informa-
tion.
Device: Here the connected storage medium is displayed.
3. Now select the tracks to be converted in the right-hand column with
the Cursor buttons and the ENTER button.
4. In the overview (SUMMARY) the number of selected tracks and the
total track length are shown.
