Searching for a track
or audio file
(Track Search)

Press SEARCH.
"SEARCH" lights up in the display
panel.

(Audio files only)
Press
you want, then press
To search in other folders, press
exit, then select the folder you want.

Press
audio file you want, then press
or N.
The selected track or audio file starts
playback.
Notes on disc
• (For AUDIO CD) This system can recognize
up to 99 tracks.
• (For MP3 dics) This system can recognize up
to
– 999 folders (including root and empty
folders).
– 999 MP3 files.
– 250 MP3 files in a folder.
– 8 folders levels (tree structure of files).
• CD-TEXT information is not supported.
Notes on USB device
• This system can recognize up to
– 1,000 folders in a USB device (including
root and empty folders).
– 3,000 audio files in a USB device.
– 250 audio files in a folder.

Using play mode

Playing in original order
(Normal Play)
Press PLAY MODE repeatedly when
playback is stopped.
When playing a disc
• (blank): play a disc
• FLDR*: play all audio files in the
or N.
specified folder on the disc

* When playing an AUDIO CD, "FLDR"
performs the same operation as "(blank)" play
mode.
When playing a USB device
• ALL USB: play all USB devices
• 1 USB: play a USB device
• FLDR: play all audio files in the
specified folder on the USB device
Playing in random order
(Shuffle Play)
Press PLAY MODE repeatedly when
playback is stopped.
When playing a disc
• SHUF: shuffle all audio files on a disc
• FLDR SHUF*: shuffle all audio files in
the specified folder on the disc
* When playing an AUDIO CD, "FLDR
SHUF" performs the same operation as
"SHUF" play mode.
When playing a USB device
• ALL USB SHUF: shuffle all audio files
on all USB devices
• 1 USB SHUF: shuffle all audio files on
a USB device
• FLDR SHUF: shuffle all audio files in
the specified folder on the USB device
Note
When you turn off the system, the selected
Shuffle Play is cleared and the play mode
returns to Normal Play.
