To use the same color profile that is currently being used by your
computer monitor, select Monitor RGB. To choose a different
profile for your monitor or printer, select from the monitor and
printer profiles in the list.
To choose a color profile that matches the RGB color space you
are using in Adobe Photoshop, select that color space from the
list. For more information on color management in Adobe
Photoshop, see the Adobe Photoshop's documentation.
Note:
If you made a color profile to calibrate your monitor using the Adobe
Gamma utility, that profile appears in the Target list box.
The default Target setting in Windows is sRGB, and for Macintosh
the default Target setting is Monitor RGB.
This setting is not available in Windows 95 or NT 4.0.
No Color Correction
This setting allows you to scan images without adjusting the
quality of the image at all. Select this setting for best results when
making your own color profile using a color calibration device.
Note:
This setting is not available in Windows 95 and NT 4.0.
