Shooting Using the Viewfinder

If you want to save battery power, you can use the viewfinder for shooting
instead of the screen. Shooting procedures are the same as when using the
screen.
The camera will automatically focus on subjects, but it will not detect and
focus on faces.
The area visible in the viewfinder may differ slightly from he image
taken.
In aspect ra ios other than 4:3, the area visible in the viewfinder will differ
from the area in the recorded image, so be sure to confirm settings
before shooting.
The viewfinder has a field of vision of approximately 77% of the actual
shooting image.
You may be able to see part of the lens through the viewfinder depending
on he zoom position.
Shooting Using the Viewfinder
The more to the right, the stronger/darker
(skin tone) the effect gets, the more to the
left, the weaker/lighter (skin tone) the effect
gets.
Press the l button to complete the
setting.
Turn off the screen.
Press the l button to turn off the
screen.
Adjust the diopter.
Adjust the diopter while looking through
the viewfinder.
