3.3 Install the Belt Cartridge PU
• Do not directly touch the OPC belt surface with bare
hands or gloves.
• If the OPC belt is exposed for more than two minutes
under the light of 800 lux, the belt may be damaged.
1) Prepare the belt cartridge PU to be installed.
2) Open the top cover PU.
3) Pull out the belt tension-release pin (1 piece for both sides) provided for shipping.
4) Remove the protective sheet covering the surface of belt cartridge PU.
5) Push the belt cartridge PU along the guide (left and right) into the printer.
