Maintenance schedule

The following is a list of the maintenance which should be conducted on the machine. For those points not described in this manual,
visit an authorised service workshop.

Maintenance

Cleaning
Check the engine's oil level
Check the engine's cooling air intake
Check the fuel pump air filter
Check the steering wires
Check the brakes
Check the battery
Check the safety system
Check nuts and screws
Check for fuel and oil leakage
Clean around the silencer
1)
Change engine oil
Replace the air filter's prefilter2)
Check the cutting deck
Check the air pressure in the tyres, 60 kPa/8.5 PSI.
Lubricate the belt adjuster
Lubricate joints and shafts
Adjust the brakes Rider 11 R and Rider 11 C
Check the V-belts
Check the transmission's cooling fins Rider 13 C, Rider 16 AWD and
Rider 16 C
Checking the oil level in the transmission on Rider 13 C, Rider 16 AWD
and Rider 16 C
Check/adjust parking brake, Rider 13C, Rider 16C
Check/adjust parking brake, Rider 16 AWD
Checking and adjusting of throttle wire
Clean the engine's and transmission's cooling fins
Replace the air filter's pre-filter and paper filter
Replace the fuel filter
Replace the spark plug.
Check the engine valve clearance
Check the need to change the oil
Check the fuel hose. Replace if necessary .
Check the synchronisation between the front and rear wheels.

First change after 5 hours. When operating with a heavy load or at high ambient temperatures, replace every 25 hours.

If the machine is used daily it should be lubricated twice a week.
