Provision the Set-Top

After you successfully connect the set-top, follow the on-screen instructions and use the keys
on the remote control to provision the set-top.
Language Settings
1. Select a language for the initial set-up menu.
2. Press OK.
Systems Settings
1. Enter the NIT number:
2. Enter the frequency:
3. Press OK.
Important: The Symbol Rate (6875) and Modulation (64) settings are completed for you.
Do not change these settings.
Signal Strength
1. Are both values in the Signal strength and Signal quality fi elds greater than 50%?
• If yes, press OK. The set-top will automatically begin a channel search and set up
the channels for you.
• If no, check that the connecting cable is properly plugged in and press
re-enter the settings; then, press OK.
2. If the values are still less than 50%, contact your service provider.

Set Personal Codes

Parental Codes
Follow the on-screen directions to set a parental code for viewing programmes reserved for
adults; then, press OK.
Personal Code
Follow the on-screen instructions to set a personal code for locking and unlocking channels,
then, press OK.
Complete the Installation
1. Press OK to complete the installation process.
2. Press OK again to update the digital recorder. During this update, your TV may switch off .
Do not disconnect the set-top; it is receiving programming updates from your service
provider.
