USER MODE
In the User Mode, individual wireless keys can be enabled and disabled. This is
particularly useful if a user loses a wireless key.
Note: Only wireless keys programmed directly into the 6152RF can
be enabled and disabled using this mode.
Single Button Arming can also be enabled or disabled from the User Mode. See
details on the following pages.
Enter the User Mode
At least 60 seconds after power up, press and hold down the
keys at the same time for 3 seconds. The screen flashes "dE" and "-" alternately.
Enable or Disable Wireless Keys
1. Enter the number of the wireless key transmitter (1-8) to be enabled or
disabled. The screen will alternately flash "d" and the wireless key number
you entered with "1" or "0" (1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled).
2. Enter [1] to enable or [0] to disable the wireless key. All wireless keys are
defaulted to 1 (enabled).
3. Press
to accept the entry. The screen flashes "dE" and "-" alternately
again.
4. Repeat the procedure for all the wireless keys whose status you want to
change.
5. Press
when "dE" and "-" are flashing alternately on the screen to move
to the User Code entry screen.
SINGLE BUTTON ARMING
If desired, the Arming Keys can be set for Single Button Arming by following
prompts to store a valid user code in the keypad. (See the system User Guide for
details on programming user codes.)
Enabling Single Button Arming
1. The 'User Code' entry screen alternately flashes "u4", "- -" and "- -".
2. Enter a valid four digit user code between 0000 – 9999 and the screen
alternately flashes "u4", and the user code you entered, two digits at a time.
Recommended: Set a dedicated user code for this feature.
3. Press
to save the user code and exit User Mode.
Note: The user code must be entered for each keypad in the system where
Single Button Arming is desired
Disabling Single Button Arming
1. Press and hold down the
seconds. The screen displays "dE" and "-" flashing alternately.
2. Press
to move to the 'User Code' entry screen. [The screen
alternately flashes "u4", "- -" and "- -."]
3. Enter

When Single Button Arming is disabled, a valid user code is required to arm the
system with the Arming keys.
