FIND YOUR DESTINATION THE WAY YOU WANT TO
So many search options are available with the AVIC-X1, you can find your destination easily and quickly even if you don't have much information at all. Search using any criteria you
have; address or postal code, town or nearest Point of Interest (POI). You can search the system for alternative destinations whilst en route too. With a vast database of POIs, the DVD
Map Disc puts all of Europe's treasures at your fingertips. You can even turn the AVIC-X1 into your own personal travel guide by inputting places you often go to or may want to visit
again. With so many features, the AVIC-X1 is your definitive driving companion.
ADDRESS SEARCH

Simply type in the first letters of the
street/city you need to go to and list of
matching streets/cities will appear instantly.
Choose the one you want and chart your
journey to get there. You can even input the
house number for more accurate guidance.

POINT OF INTEREST (POI) SEARCH
Pioneer's AVIC-X1 will take you to a gourmet
restaurant for dinner, accompany you to a
game of golf or find you a petrol station before
you run out of fuel. With more than 1.3 million
Points of Interest divided into 65 categories
and subcategories, you can easily locate the
nearest gas station, a local golf course or
restaurant to match your appetite, no matter
what food you are in the mood for. Simply type
in what you are looking for or scroll the map
with gas station logos and convenient
pictograms. The AVIC-X1 will guide you right
to the doorstep.
POSTAL CODE SEARCH

Typing in a postcode is an easy way to help you
find a location. The system recognises
thousands of postal codes right across
Europe and can easily navigate you safely to
your end destination. This is particularly
useful in Great Britain where postal codes
indicate whole or part of a street or even an
individual house.

MAP SEARCH

Even with no precise details of your
destination, the AVIC-X1 will still get you
there. Scroll around the detailed map of the
surrounding area, indicate a point close by
and the system will use that as your
destination point and guide you safely to
where you want to be.
You can make the map your own by
registering and attaching icons to up to
300 destinations. Whenever you are in the
area, they will always be visible on the map.
To visit any of them again, just touch the icon
on the screen and AVIC-X1 will chart your
journey for you.
