CardBus slots are usually located on the left or right side of the notebook. Once the Wire- less Notebook Adapter is installed correctly, the Found New Hardware Wizard will launch auto- matically.

Confi guring Wireless Zero Confi guration Service: ◗ If the Wireless Zero Confi guration Service is activated, Windows will scan for available wireless access points once the Wireless Notebook Adapter is properly installed. If Windows detects one or more access points, a net- working icon appears on the task bar.

    Buffalo Client Manager Client Manager Use Client Manager to confi gure your wireless network. Use Client Manager to survey and connect to available access points, enable and use WEP encryption, and create connection profi les. ■ Note: Client Manager does not function properly if the Windows XP Wireless Zero Confi guration Service is enabled.

To assist in confi guring your wireless network, Client Manager consists of the Status page, the Survey page, and the Profi les page. You can access each page by clicking the corresponding button on Client Manager.
