INSTALLING THE HARDWARE

Install the HMXAT200 control computer, HMXPS9 power supply and HMX32128 video
subracks (per standard 19" rack mount equipment in accordance with EIA Standard
310). Mounting holes accommodate #10 mounting screws.
NOTE: Take care to place subracks in correct order.

2.1.1 HMX32128 Subracks

1. Remove the front cover from the video subrack and ensure all cards are correctly
seated in card guides and that the front edge of each card is flush with the lower
card tray
2. The HMX128 controller card (the left most card in the HMX32128 subrack) is
configured at the factory, but can be reconfigured if necessary prior to installation.
Subrack Addressing
The subrack address is set up at SW3 and SW4. SW4 sets the binary subrack address
in the range of 1 – 99. SW3 sets the 100's group.
Subrack Baud Rate
The baud rate is set using DIP switch SW4, position 8.
OFF = 19.2K (default)
ON = 9600
