7. Inspect the element. If damaged, replace it.
8. Apply Yamaha foam air filter oil or other quali-
ty foam air filter oil to the element. If foam air
filter oil is not available, motor oil may be
used.
NOTE:
The element should be wet but not dripping.
9. Install the air filter element to the element
guide.
10.Install the element assembly and parts
removed for access.
