At 8 lbs., this model is very light for its size. We are pleased to provide this manual with the Model H5571. It was written to encourage safety considerations and guide you through general operating pro- cedures and maintenance. This manual represents our effort to produce the best documentation possible.
Compressed Air System The Model H5571 is designed to be oper- ated at 85-115 psi. DO NOT exceed the maximum operating pressure! Before you use your new nailer, regulate the air pressure on your air compressor to barely over the minimum psi for your nail- er.
Oiling Nailer Special oil has been included with your new Grizzly nailer to help maintain its use- ful life. Place one drop of oil in the nailer air inlet (as shown in Figure 1) before every use. Wipe off any excess oil near the nail- er exhaust to avoid dust build-up.
If the nail either went too far or not far enough, adjust the depth. H5571 34˚ Framing Nailer Kit Adjusting Depth The nose of the gun houses a depth adjustment knob for setting the depth that the nailer drives nails into the workpiece.
Single/Bump Fire Mode The Model H5571 is equipped with a sin- gle/bump fire trigger. To select single or bump fire operation: Disconnect the air supply from the nailer! Locate the single/bump fire selector on the trigger. See Figure 5. To select Single Fire mode, push in the selector and rotate it down.
