Troubleshooting

Symptom
Video image does not
appear
Power does not turn on.
Power is turned off but it is
disconnected once the
rotation platform operates.
● The remote control does
not work.
● The camera does not
operate smoothly in
response to the remote
control.
● The Pan/Tilt lever can be
operated but the menu
screen cannot be
displayed.
● FAN STOP T T
appears on the screen.
(T T are numeric
characters)
Cause
● Are the camera and ceiling mount brackets mounted
securely? (TK-C685E/TK-C686E)
● Are the power cables and coaxial cables connected
correctly?
● Is the power cable thick enough?
● Is the lens cap still attached to the camera?
● Is the power turned on under an environment of -40 to
-20I? (TK-C685WPE/TK-C686WPE)
● Is there a problem with the cable between this unit
and the power unit?
(If the cable is too long or thin, the resistance of the
cable is large and the voltage will drop when the
rotation platform is operating.)
● Is the transporting tape removed?
● Are the settings for Setting Switch 4, 5, 8 correct?
● Is the camera under key lock (prevent misoperation)?
● Is the connection of the control signal cable correct?
● The built-in cooling fan or heater fan
(TK-C685WPE/TK-C686WPE only) is malfunctioning.
Action
● Mount the camera and ceiling
mount brackets securely.
● Connect the cables correctly.
● Use a cable of the correct
thickness.

(thick and short cable).
