3.4 Fast Freeze function
If more than 3-4 kg of food is to be fro-
zen:

Press the Freezer Switch to activate
the fast-freeze function 6-24 hours
before placing the fresh food in the
freezer, the Yellow Indicator Light will
illuminate. The compressor will now
run continuously, to ensure that the
fresh food is frozen as quickly as pos-
sible.

It is possible to deactivate the func-
tion at any time by pressing the
Freezer Switch.

Place the food in the freezing (top)
compartment and leave the Freezer
Switch on for a further 24 hours.

4.1 Cleaning the interior
Before using the appliance for the first
time, wash the interior and all internal ac-
cessories with lukewarm water and some

5.1 Freezing fresh food
The freezer (top) compartment is suitable
for freezing fresh food and storing frozen
and deep-frozen food for a long time.
To freeze fresh food activate the fast
freeze function.
The maximum amount of food that can be
frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rat-
ing plate, a label located on the inside of
the appliance.
The freezing process lasts 24 hours: dur-
ing this period do not add other food to
be frozen.

When first starting-up or after a period out
