Connecting up

Connecting your component with no HDMI terminal

This diagram shows connections of a TV and DVD player (or other playback component) with no
HDMI terminal to the system.

Connect the composite video output on
your DVD player to the VIDEO BD/DVD input
on this system.
Use a standard RCA video cable.

Connect the audio output on your DVD
player to the AUDIO BD/DVD IN inputs on this
system.
Use a stereo RCA phono cable. If your component
has a digital output, you can also use an optical
cable or coaxial cable for the connection.
Note
1 In this case, you'll need to tell the system which digital input you connected the component to (see Choosing the input
signal on page 48).
