    You can use the charger option for charging ThinkPad Z series computer batteries. For a list of supported battery part numbers, go to http://www.lenovo.com/ think/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo & Indocid=MIGR-61259 Note: For other ThinkPads, contact your authorized dealer or marketing representative to determine if the batteries for those models can be used with this charger.

    Hardware identification The following illustration shows the components of the charger hardware. 1 The power jack is where the AC adapter is connected. 2 The power indicator turns green (on) when you connect the AC adapter to the charger. 3 The connector is for connecting the battery to the charger. The battery status indicators 4 , 5 show the charging status of the battery when connected to the charge connector 3 .
