Notes:
• R1 has interface 1/0/20 in multiple VLANs.
• R5 has interface 1/0/1 in multiple VLANs.
• Note that all VLANs in this example are tagged, because an interface can be a member of multiple
tagged VLANs, but not multiple untagged VLANs.

Clearing/Resetting a VLAN

To clear the VLAN configuration parameters to the factory defaults, issue the
Privileged Exec mode:
